For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. I love the way it looks conservative at first glance, but the more you look, the more questions you have — is it like it’s double-breasted? Is it like a wrap? Do I like the pockets on the front of the hip like that? There’s something challenging about it, a bit like art, but in the best way.
(A lot of Jacquemus suits are like that, with exaggerated proportions and an almost architectural approach to fabric — I’m less fond of some of the other ones, but to each their own!)
